Police & fire for Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016

Assault

• At 5:38 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an assault in the 2200 block of Trout Street. Investigation continues.

• At 12:22 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Angela Bell, 29, for assault in the 100 block of Seward Street. Bell was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center in lieu of a $1,000 bail. Alcohol was involved.

• At 12:22 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Heather James, 21, for assault in the 100 block of Seward Street. James was taken to LCCC in lieu of a $1,000 bail. Alcohol was involved.

Burglary

• At 11:46 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of an $800 theft from a business in the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 4:22 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of an intoxicated female in the 200 block of Ferry Way and is investigating a possible violation of conditions of release. Alcohol was involved.

• At 1 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Jacob Adler, 19, for violating the conditions of his probation in the 1200 block of Egan Drive. Alcohol was involved.

Disturbance

• At 11:50 p.m. Saturday, JPD created a case for a disturbance in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

Domestic violence

• At 2:18 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a man in the Juneau area for a domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail. Alcohol was involved.

• At 6:19 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail. Alcohol was involved.

• At 9:24 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Jacalyn Greene, 65, of Gustavus for driving under the influence as well as refusal to submit to a chemical test in the 11200 block of Mendenhall Loop road.

• At 11:11 a.m. Sunday, a 34-year-old man was arrested in the Juneau area for criminal mischief and interfering with a report of domestic violence. He was taken to LCCC.

Drunken driving

• At 8:32 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Jeffery Scott Roberts, 32, for driving under the influence and driving while license revoked in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. Alcohol was involved.

Motor vehicle accident

• At 4:10 a.m. Saturday, JPD created a case to document an unattended motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Savikko Road.

• At 12:28 p.m. Sunday, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision near mile 14 on the Glacier Highway where Michael Shaw, 37, was riding a motorcycle when Dorion Hobbs, 26, struck him with her Toyota SUV. Shaw sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital. Alcohol was not a factor. Investigation continues.

Sex crime

• At 7:28 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 5:30 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Thomas Fuller, 57, for theft of a bottle of alcohol from a business in the 300 block of Whittier Street. Alcohol was involved.

Vandalism

• At 2:19 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report that the glass window of a business in the 100 block of Seward Street was destroyed. No leads or suspects.

• At 1 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of vandalism at a business in the 400 block of Whittier Street. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 12:23 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a vehicle rifling in the area of the Rock Dump in the 100 block of Mount Roberts Street. Investigation continues.
