Assault

• At 8:53 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a reported fight during an organized adult basketball game in the 5800 block of Sunset Street. Investigation continues.

• At 3:59 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a reported assault in the 300 block of Fourth Street. A 23-year-old man had been fighting with residents of an apartment and was refusing to leave. He was then forcibly pushed out of the apartment. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

• At 2:42 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a reported assault in the 200 block of Front Street in which alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

• At 5:09 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a reported assault in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 5:02 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a reported burglary in the 4000 block of Spruce Lane. Investigation continues.

• At 10:52 am. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of a burglary and theft at a residence in the 300 block of Ewing Way. Investigation continues.

Counterfeit bill

• At 11:29 p.m., JPD received a report of a counterfeit bill at a business in the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 7:57 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 33-year-old man in the Juneau area on one count of domestic violence assault. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and was being held without bail.

Driving under the influence

• On Saturday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a report of a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Lena Point. Eric Maus, 35, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to LCCC, where he was held without bail.

False statement on license

• On Friday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Juneau cited Robert Mayer, 45, for making a false statement on a 2016 sport fishing license.

Fire and medical

• On Friday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to six EMS calls and one medical transport around the city throughout the day. At 7:12 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Glacier Highway; a man was provided advanced life support and taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• On Saturday, CCFR responded to two EMS calls and one medical transport call. At 8:56 a.m., firefighters responded for the smell of gas on Blueberry Hills; the air quality was found to be within safe limits. At 4:39 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm on Front Street; the alarm company had sent the alarm to the wrong city.

• On Sunday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls and one medical transport call. At 6:24 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to an alarm call on Willoughby Avenue; units found an activated pull system in a garage and helped reset the alarm.

Shoplifting

• At 2:25 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a shoplifting incident in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

• At 2:38 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report that a man and woman shoplifted in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 6:33 p.m. Thursday, JPD cited Joshua Charles Amos, 39, for stealing a sweatshirt valued at $98 from a business in the 9700 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

• At 11:56 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of trespass at a business in the 400 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 11:57 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of trespassing at a business in the 400 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 12:23 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report that a person had vandalized a Capital Transit bus window in the 10000 block of Bentwood Place, causing an estimated $300 in damage.

Vehicle rifling

• At 5:48 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report by a 28-year-old woman in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue that her vehicle was rifled through. Nothing had been taken.

• At 7:32 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report from a 27-year-old woman in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue that items were taken from her unlocked vehicle.

• At 10:22 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report from a 57-year-old woman in the 200 block of Behrends Avenue that her unlocked vehicle had been rifled through.

• At 12:43 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report by a 36-year-old man in the 1200 block of Harbor Way that his vehicle was rifled through and nothing was taken.

• At 2:10 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report by a 37-year-old man in the 1400 block of Harbor Way that his unlocked vehicle had been rifled.

• At 9:38 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a vehicle rifling and theft from the vehicle in the 200 block of Marine Way. Investigation continues.

Vehicle theft

• At 4:53 p.m., JPD responded to a report of the theft of a motor vehicle in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.
