Conditions violation
• At 1:29 p.m. Sunday, 31-year-old Blake Miller was arrested for violating conditions of release in the 5900 block of Churchill Way, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.
Death
• At 9:59 a.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to an unattended death in the 300 block of Village Street. Foul play is not suspected.
Domestic violence
• At 12:40 p.m. Sunday, a 51-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault, and she was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.
• At 8:21 p.m. Sunday, JPD performed a traffic stop in the Mendenhall Valley and arrested a man for violating a domestic violence protective order. Alcohol was not involved.
• At 11:12 p.m. Sunday, a 35-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault and harassment. Alcohol was involved.
Drugs
• At 11:46 a.m. Monday, investigation continues into misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree in the 200 block of Franklin Street.
Fire and medical
• On Friday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 12 EMS calls, one transport call, a fire alarm on Teal Street activated by a dusty propane heater, a fire alarm on Egan Drive sounded by a person who removed a smoke detector from the wall and a report of smoke in the Stephen Richards Drive area caused by a person who was burning trash. CCFR issued him a citation to not burn until a burn permit is obtained next spring.
• On Saturday, CCFR responded to six EMS calls, a false fire alarm on Egan Drive sounded by an airless paint sprayer, a report of an arcing transformer on a power pole with smoke on Mendenhall Loop Road (no danger to the public, and AEL&P responded), and a report of a porch fire on Hummingbird Lane. Upon arrival, CCFR found that people on scene were using a small propane-powered fire pit for a warming fire. They were monitoring it closely and were in constant attendance. There was no apparent problem and personnel left them with their fire. Units returned to service. CCFR also responded to a false call on Harbor Way.
• On Sunday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls, a false fire alarm on Glacier Highway caused by cooking, an assist call to reset a fire alarm system on Glacier Highway and a transport call to a taken a patient and flight team from the hospital to the airport.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 8:50 p.m. Sunday, a 54-year-old woman reported her truck was struck while parked in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
Remand
• At 11:46 a.m. Monday, JPD assisted the probation office with a remand in the 200 block of Franklin Street.
Sex crime
• At 6:09 p.m. Sunday, JPD investigation continues into a reported sex crime.
Theft
• At 7:56 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a report of a 48-year-old man whole stole two breakfast sandwiches, valued under $10, from a store in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Charges have been filed.
Vehicle rifling
• At 9:12 p.m. Monday, a 55-year-old woman reported that someone rifled through her vehicle in the 1900 block of Fritz Cove Road around 2 a.m. that morning.
