Police & fire for Wednesday, May 11, 2016

Domestic dispute

• At 10:09 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of theft and criminal mischief in the Juneau area related to domestic violence. Investigation continues.

Drug activity

• At 1:51 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of drug activity in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Monday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls, one transport call, one open burn complaint and one call that was cancelled en route.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:44 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report that a motor vehicle destroyed a bus stop in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. No injuries were reported. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 2:40 p.m. Monday, an 81-year-old woman reported her wallet was stolen in the 7900 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 9:24 a.m., JPD received a report that two light fixtures were damaged at a downtown parking garage on Egan Drive sometime in the last two weeks.
