Burglary

• At 5:18 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a burglary in the 10100 block of Bentwood Place.

Drug activity

• At 10:10 p.m. Saturday, JPD destroyed property in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

Fire and medical

• on Thursday, Nov. 17, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls around town throughout the day.

Noise complaint

• At 3:37 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a noise complaint in the 300 block of Distin Avenue. Alcohol was involved.

Shoplift

• At 4:53 p.m. Saturday, Michelle Ward, 24, was cited and released for larceny in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 5:13 p.m. Saturday, Dylan Klose, 29, was cited and released for larceny in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 11:43 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a report of shoplifting at the AT&T in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 11:35 p.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old man reported a bicycle was stolen from his porch in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 9:21 a.m. Sunday, a 43-year-old woman reported her unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Harbor Way was rifled and two checks were stolen.

• At 10:52 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a theft of tires in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive.

Vandalism

• At 12:21 p.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old woman reported vandalism to six tires on three separate vehicles in the 6000 block of Montgomery Street.

Wildlife offenses

• On Nov. 14, Craig Ahrens, 49, of Juneau, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers Ketchikan Post for operating a personal use halibut line without his name on the buoy. Ahrens was cited after his personal use halibut line was located near Auke Bay, without his name and address on the buoy.

• On Monday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers Juneau Post issued Brian Bitz, 58, of Hoonah, a strict liability citation for failing to register one of his vessels for the commercial sea cucumber dive fishery. The citation stems from a contact on Oct. 5 at Freshwater Bay where Bitz was observed conducting dive operations from a skiff he had not registered for the fishery.
