At least two people conspired to break into a Lemon Creek business in mid-January, and the Juneau Police Department is still searching for them, according to a release from JPD.
At about 6:30 a.m. Jan. 15, an employee at Tyler Rental arrived at work to find someone inside the building. The employee called JPD, and the intruder was eventually chased from the building. The intruder then climbed into a silver minivan nearby, which was driven by an unknown accomplice.
The suspect in the building, who took cash from the business, is described as being between 6-foot and 6-foot-2 and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone who might have heard details about this break-in is asked to contact either JPD at 586-0600 or Juneau Crime Line at 523-7700. Crime Line is a nonprofit organization that takes anonymous tips about crimes in the community.
