The Southeast office of the American Red Cross will move to a new location by the end of the month, it was announced Friday.
The volunteer organization will relocate its Hospital Drive office to a new location in the Lemon Creek area by the end of February. Services will not be disrupted by the move.
The new offices offer the Red Cross staff and volunteers more room to work.
“We are grateful for the support of our active and growing volunteer base in the Southeast,” Red Cross of Alaska CEO Tanguy Libbrecht said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to continuing to serve the Southeast Alaska community in a space that will better suit our needs and help our staff and volunteers fulfill our mission more efficiently.”
