The campaign of Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has opened a campaign office in Juneau.
The office, which held its grand opening Saturday afternoon, is located at the former site of the downtown Heritage Coffee on 2nd Street.
The office’s opening comes ahead of the March 26 Democratic Presidential Caucus. The Juneau portion of the caucus will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday in Centennial Hall and follows the Republican Presidential Preference Poll on March 1.
At the caucus, participants will pick their preferred presidential candidate: Sanders or former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
