From now until April, parking downtown is going to be a little easier for some.
Anyone with a Marine Parking Garage parking permit will be able to park in the Marine Park Plaza, starting this past Friday and running until April 15, 2018. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis, and parking is prohibited between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. to accommodate snow removal.
Marine Parking Garage parking permits are available at the Parks & Recreation office in room 218 of City Hall. Permits are $550 for a year, $50 for a month and $15 for seven days. The permits are not valid for hourly parking spaces (spaces 5-23 in the garage), Library Parking spaces (spaces A-V) and other spaces prohibited by sign or device.
