More parking will open up downtown on Friday as the City and Borough of Juneau opens Marine Park Plaza to those who obtain a parking permit.
Drivers must purchase a Marine Parking Garage parking permit in order to park at the plaza. Permits, which allow access to both the Marine Parking Garage and Marine Park Plaza, can be purchased downtown at the Parks and Recreation office, located in room 218 of City Hall.
Parking at the plaza is first come, first serve and will be available through April 19, 2019. Parking will be prohibited between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. for snow removal.
