ANCHORAGE — A second suspect has been arrested in the shooting deaths of two men Monday in west Anchorage.
Police say 26-year-old Linda Chattel was arrested Tuesday night. Spokeswoman Anita Shell says investigators are not ready to give details of her participation.
She is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and drug misconduct and scheduled for arraignment Wednesday.
Police say 22-year-old Jeramyha Talauega and 33-year-old Robin Porter died of gunshot wounds during a drug transaction.
Investigators say Talauega arranged to buy drugs from Porter and his wife, Meghan Pugh, and entered their vehicle. A fight began and all three fired shots.
Talauega was found dead along railroad tracks near Tudor Road west of Spenard Builders Supply. Porter died at a hospital.
Pugh also is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and drug misconduct.
