Rain is in the forecast, but Monday might be a bit of a dry day for some Douglas residents.
Starting at 8 a.m., the city will be shutting off water to “many residences” in Douglas, according to a city announcement. The residences could be without water until 5 p.m. The shutdown is part of the Crow Hill Reservoir Fill Line Replacement project.
The affected area includes Sixth Street, Alta Court, Laurel Drive, Fifth Street, Crow Hill Drive, Lawson Creek Road, Great Western Street, Raven Road, Creek Street and a portion of Third Street. Affected residents will be informed directly.
