Members of the Alaska Parent Teacher Association are asking community members for input on the state of education by way of a 2015 parent survey.
Available online at www.tinyurl.com/HelpTheAlaskaPTA, the survey is for all parents, educators and community members to help the organization focus advocacy efforts during a time of serious challenges for public schools.
The PTA is seeking a diverse audience for survey results, and as an incentive will offer gift cards to 10 participants for completing the survey before Nov. 30.
The Alaska PTA, which has over 7,900 members from 139 schools across the state, serves to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
