Sixty-five new COVID-19 cases were reported statewide on Friday.
Of the newly reported cases, 59 are residents and six are nonresidents, according to Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. No new deaths or hospitalizations were reported.
So far, 111 Alaskans have been hospitalized with COVID-19 and 19 have died. There are currently 27 patients in the hospital, according to the state.
Two Juneau residents were among the 59 resident cases reported Friday, according to the state. One of the cases was already part of City and Borough of Juneau’s case count, according to the city.
Juneau has now had 114 cumulative COVID-19 cases, according to the city. Of those cases 74 have been residents and 40 have been nonresidents. As of Friday, 17 resident cases were active and 29 nonresident cases were active.
