ANCHORAGE — A teenager was found shot to death early Sunday on the Anchorage’s east side.
The 17-year-old boy was identified as Xeryus Tate. Police say their initial investigation indicates the shooting was not random.
Police just after 2 a.m. took a call reporting a disturbance and shots fired.
They found the boy dead of gunshot wounds in the area of east Sixth Avenue and Newell Street.
No one was been arrested.
The death is the third fatal Anchorage shooting in three days.
Just after 3 a.m. Friday, police found a dead male on a street about two blocks north of Muldoon Elementary School.
Just after 2 a.m. Saturday, police learned 18-year-old Elijah Zeller had been dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
