WRANGELL, — State and federal responders are continuing to search for a Wrangell man overdue from a boating trip.
Alaska State Troopers say 53-year-old Kenneth Trammel left Wrangell on Nov. 5 aboard his 38-foot boat, the Thalasa.
He was due to return after five days but he has not been seen.
The Coast Guard cutter Anacapa and a Sitka helicopter crew searched Monday near Berg Bay, Blake Channel and Deer Island.
Wrangell search and rescue personnel also have been looking for the missing boater.
Searchers Monday were dealing with strong wind, snow and low visibility.
