KETCHIKAN — Authorities say the body of a man has been found floating in water off Ketchikan.
The Ketchikan Daily News reports that Alaska State Troopers had responded Saturday night to a report of the body in the Tongass Narrows along a highway. The man was removed from the water and has not yet been identified, troopers said in an online dispatch.
Troopers say the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage will conduct an autopsy
The man’s death remains under investigation.
