ANCHORAGE — A man wanted on a felony arrest warrant was injured when multiple Alaska State Troopers fired their service weapons at him.
A trooper press release said the man was transported from outside a Nikiski home for treatment.
The announcement did not list how many troopers fired weapons or the nature of the man’s injuries.
Troopers in Soldotna received a tip shortly before noon Wednesday that the suspect would be at a home.
At the home, the suspect drove a vehicle at an officer and multiple troopers fired at him.
No troopers were injured.
Names of troopers who fire their weapons are not released for three days. The officers are placed on leave for that same time.
