ANCHORAGE — A man shot by Alaska State Troopers in Nikiski has been identified as a Soldotna resident wanted on three felony warrants.
Troopers say the man injured is 37-year-old Brian Tupper.
Troopers received a tip that Tupper was at a Nikiski home.
Troopers accompanied by Kenai Police Department officers, formed a perimeter to contact Tupper shortly before noon Wednesday.

Troopers have not released how many officers fired.
Tupper is being treated for his gunshot wounds. He was sought on three counts of drug misconduct, driving without a valid license, criminal trespass and eluding a police officer.
Troopers who fired their guns were placed on administrative leave for three days.
