ANCHORAGE — Two people killed last week in a Seward Highway crash north of Girdwood were residents of Kasilof.
Alaska State Troopers say 36-year-old Jackson Moore and 25-year-old Cherise James died in the crash Friday night at Mile 99.
Moore and James were driving north in a small station wagon.
Troopers saidthe car crossed the centerline and struck a van, which caused the van to leave the roadway.
The car continued north and struck a sport utility vehicle towing a boat.
Moore and James were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 48-year-old passenger in the SUV was injured and transported to an Anchorage hospital.
