A Juneau grand jury handed up two indictments on Wednesday.
Thomas D. Norris, 27, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of third-degree assault in connection to an incident on Aug. 27, according to a copy of the indictment.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Juneau Superior Court on Sept. 5.
Virginia G. Moriarty, 37, was charged with escape in the second degree. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court on Sept. 8.
Indictments are formal accusations of illegal activity, not evidence of guilt.
