The Juneau Police Department has announced that Fourth Street will be closed between Main Street and Seward Street for about an hour on two days this week to accommodate a pair of rallies on the front steps of the Alaska Capitol.
On Wednesday, the Alaska Climate Action Network will rally between noon and 12:30 p.m.
On Friday, the Key Coalition of Alaska will rally between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. According to an email from JPD, participants will gather in the parking lot of the Goldbelt Hotel. From there, they will walk (via sidewalk) to the intersection of Main Street and Fourth Street. They will cross the intersection and stop in front of the Capitol Building.
