Both Alaska’s U.S. Senators will address the Alaska Legislature in the coming weeks.
U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska will speak to the Legislature on Tuesday at 11 a.m., according to an email from her staff.
Alaska’s junior senator Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, will make his address to the Legislature March, 12, according to his staff. A time for his speech wasn’t specified.
Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, will not be making an address this year. In an email, Young’s Press Secretary Zack Brown said in recent years the representative has, “preferred having meaningful small group meetings with legislators to discuss policy priorities for Alaska.”
Both Young and Sullivan are up for re-election this year.
