FAIRBANKS — A 19-year-old woman was shot and injured at an early morning weekend party in Fairbanks.
Alaska State Troopers just after 3 a.m. Sunday took 911 calls of shots fired at a home west of the city.
Troopers say the found several people at the home, including the injured woman, whom they described as a bystander.
The shooter had fled.
The injured woman was rushed to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and then flown to Providence Hospital in Anchorage.
Troopers say the investigation is ongoing.
