ANCHORAGE — A southwest Alaska woman faces a manslaughter charge after a fatal all-terrain vehicle crash last week.
Alaska State Troopers said 25-year-old Katherine Noatak of Akiachak also is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
She’s being held without bail at the Bethel jail.
Online court documents do not list an attorney for Noatak.
Investigators said Noatak just before midnight Friday was driving an all-terrain vehicle in Akiachak that struck 76-year-old Ruth Lomack.
Lomack was pronounced dead at the Akiachak clinic.
Noatak was injured and transported by a medevac flight to a Bethel hospital.
Akiachak is a village of 700 on the Kuskokwim River about 18 miles northeast of Bethel.
