Woman’s body found in south Anchorage; police seek witnesses

ANCHORAGE — An autopsy has been ordered in the death of a woman found Saturday morning in south Anchorage.

Police say a passer-by spotted the body of 45-year-old Darlene Kunayak in woods off Goldenview Drive near Bulgaria Drive.

Police are conducting an investigation. They’ve asked anyone who saw suspicious activity to contact them.

They’re also seeking surveillance footage of road traffic between Friday and Saturday.
