Youth Center offers into to rock climbing

The Zach Gordon Youth Center is hosting a free four-day introduction to rock climbing class this week.

Classes, which start Wednesday, will cover everything from climbing safety to movement and technique, according to a flier for the event. It will be taught by CWA certified climbing wall instructor Jessie Palomino.

Registration is required. Register at the Zach Gordon Youth Center or by phone, 586-2635. Space is limited to eight participants per group. The age groups are 9-12 and 13-19. Class dates are Dec. 27, 29, Jan. 3 and Jan. 5.
