Joyce Arlene (Hinshaw) Morrison died Feb. 11, 2019, in Casper, Wyoming, at Wyoming Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 93.
Morrison was born Sept. 12, 1925, in Spokane, Washington, to Herbert and Theo (Brown) Hinshaw. She spent the majority of her life in Alaska raising her children and working for the State of Alaska as an Unemployment Benefit Specialist for more than 25 years before retiring. She had a great love for Alaska and loved her family very dearly and spent a lot of time with her grandchildren.
Morrison was preceded in death by her parents; her three sisters; and her children James, Richard and Laural Lee Morrison. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Morrison; son, George Morrison and his wife Terri Morrison; and four grandchildren, George (Tyra) Morrison, R.J. Morrison, Nellie Morrison and Rashel Morrison.
