Earl Kent Hudson, Jr. passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 5:10 a.m., at the age of 62, after a short battle with cancer. On June 26, 2017 at around 12:10 p.m., Hudson’s final wish was fulfilled. He was cremated at the Alaskan Memorial Park.
He is preceded in death by his parents Zora C. (Sembrowich) Hudson and Earl K. Hudson, Sr.; Uncle John L. Sembrowich; mother-in-law Myrna Johnson; and brother-in-law JD Johnson.
He is survived by his loving wife Brenda Hudson of Juneau; brother Brian Hudson (Buki) of Kona, Hawaii; Aunt Vera McDowell and cousin Maureen McDowell of Ansonia, Connecticut; many cousins and friends.
He had a great talent of bringing a smile to everyone’s face he came in contact with. He was a great mechanic and general manager. Earl loved to volunteer at the Last Chance Mining Museum, pan for gold, cook, and take long drives out the road with Brenda to whale and bird watch. To sum it all up; he loved life, but most of all Earl loved God, his wife, family, and friends. He’ll be missed by many who loved and respected him.
