Harris Hunter Wood II
Harris Hunter Wood II died July 23, 2016. He was 63 years old.
Hunter grew up in Pheonix and later joined the U.S. Navy. Always having a sense of adventure, he and his family moved to Juneau in 1989. He enjoyed bird watching and the peacefulness of nature.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harris and Patricia Wood, as well as his sister Susan Wood of Phoenix.
He is survived by his sister, Sarah Straus of Prescott, Arizona; daughters, Bonnie Silker (Wood) of Crosby, Minnesota; and Kathryn Zasmeta (Wood) of Aitkin, Minnesota; son, Harris Wood of East Gull Lake, Minnesota; as well as six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
