Katherine Lucille Money Eastham
Katherine Lucille Money Eastham died on June 28, 2017, at the age of 91.
She attended the Yakima Seventh-Day Adventist Church School but didn’t finish her education in her youth. Her life-long goal was to complete her schooling and in 2001 — at the age of 76 — provided a wonderful example to her family by earning her GED, which she proudly framed and hung on her wall for all to see.
In 1980, she moved to Juneau and worked at Bartlett Regional Hospital for eight years before retiring and moving south.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, son David and daughter Linda who died in 2006. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Manly (John) of Juneau; Judy Waldrip (George) of Fall Creek, Oregon; and son Bill Eastham (Lorrie) of Ketchikan; nine grandchildren: Anderson, Evan and Ben Manly; Kevin Pleban; Dr. Jennifer Rearrick-Tan; Jacob Rearrick; Leia Bundy, Asha Dugan, Sean Eastham, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Katherine’s final resting place will be in the Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima, Washington, near her husband, son, daughter and other family members.
