Peter James Wool

Peter James Wool passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016. He was 47 years old.

He was born Feb. 1, 1969, to Stephen B. Sr. and Catherine Denise (Dustin) Wool in North Adams, Massachusetts. He attended high school and received his GED. Peter moved to Alaska in 1997 and had lived in Anchorage, Haines and Juneau. Peter like to hike and loved to be outside in nature, his family said.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine D. Wool, all of his grandparents and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He is survived by his father, Stephen B. Wool, Sr. of Big Lake, Michigan; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen B. Wool Jr. and Melissa of Anchorage; sister and brother-in-law, Janet (Wool) Johnson and Randy of Kenai; brother and sister-in-law, Einar Wool and Virginia Rose of Rapid City, South Dakota; brother and his fiancée, David Wool and Emily Albrecht; he also leaves behind two sons and several nieces and nephews.
