Steven Roy Mayville

Steven Roy Mayville of Mount Vernon, Washington, passed away in his sleep at home on May 15, 2016. He was 52 years old.

Mayville was born on Aug. 2, 1963, to Ray and Carolyn (Sitton) Mayville. He attended school in Sedro Woolley, Washington, and studied at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Reno. He had lived in Washington, Alaska and Nevada throughout his life, though always referred to Sitka as his home.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Mayville of Clear Lake, Washington; his brother, Ray Mayville of Burlington, Washington; his two sisters, Robin Mayville of Wasilla, and Tanya Mayville of Sitka; his five children: Bryan Mayville of Sedro Woolley, Stevie and Makayla Mayville of Juneau, Tara Young of Ketchikan and Salena Mayville of Mount Vernon; his four grandchildren: Allyson and Skyliana Mayville, Soulstis West and Matthew Dogra; and numerous extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Mayville; his brother, Rick Mayville; and son, Matthew Young.

He will be cremated. No services are arranged at this time.
