Yesterday as I was waiting for the bus at the Downtown Transit Center, I happened upon a person lying asleep on their sleeping bag by the bike rack. I want to advocate for the homeless and call upon Juneau to stop homelessness. Let us set the correct precedent for the rest of the state, for after all we are the capital of the great state of Alaska. I don’t want to have to show pictures again of the downtrodden, poor, tired, homeless of Juneau. Let us rally together for a better city, a better, happier population and the bag of guilt off my mind. Thank you Juneau. Now what’s the first thing we can do to address this very embarrassing, unhidden situation?
