Applications for Eaglecrest’s Learn to Ski Weekend close Friday

Applications are due Friday at noon for the 36th Annual Eaglecrest Learn to Ski Weekend.

Transportation, equipment rentals, lift tickets, lessons and lunch will be offered Feb. 3 and 4 for 40 randomly-selected applicants. Only third, fourth and fifth-grade first-time skiers can apply.

“We are excited for the chance to connect with the youth of Juneau and keep this tradition alive with the help of Mendenhall Auto and Subaru. It’s going to be a great weekend!” said Director of Marketing and Snowsport School Jeffra Clough, who has been a part of Learn to Ski Weekend for over 20 years.

Applications can be found at skijuneau.com and winners will be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
