Color up for color run
The Faith Community Christian School is hosting the Color Run on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Kaxdigoowu Heen Dei (Brotherhood Bridge) Trail.
The run starts at 11 a.m. after a “color toss” behind Riverbend Elementary School. The run travels behind Dimond Park Fieldhouse, across Mendenhall River, and onto Brotherhood Trail. There will be 1-mile and 5K turn around markers on the trail.
Participants will receive a white race T-shirt to color with the supplied colored cornstarch. The powder washes out in most cases but on some fabrics may not wash out entirely.
Registration is from 9:30-11 a.m. at the site of the start. The race costs between $15 and $30.
