Discover Hockey Day at Treadwell Ice Arena

The Juneau Douglas Ice Association on Saturday will sponsor Discover Hockey for youth looking to try hockey for the first time at Treadwell Ice Arena. The two-hour event begins at 3 p.m. and is open to ages 4-18. All gear is provided.

JDIA used part of its Youth Activity Grant to purchase equipment to make hockey affordable for those just starting. Treadwell Arena also donated one hour of ice time.
