The Southeast Alaska Gymnastics Academy’s first home meet of the season, the “Pumpkin Spice Invitational,” is Saturday at the club facility.
The meet will be replete with four guest judges from Anchorage and squads from Ketchikan and Sitka.
Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka will compete across two sessions of competition in the morning and afternoon.
SAGA volunteer Bridget Lujan says the club attracts competing teams from outside of Juneau only once or twice a year.
“We’re really happy that both Ketchikan and Sitka decided to come,” Lujan said.
The first session for Junior Olympic levels 4, 5 and 6 begins at 10 a.m. The second session begins at 2:15 p.m. for Junior Olympic levels 2 and 3.
The SAGA gym is located at 3009 Tongass Blvd.
