The Juneau-Douglas High School volleyball team split with the Ketchikan Lady Kings at Ketchikan over the weekend.
The Crimson Bears lost three of five sets Friday. The scores were 19-25, 25-15, 18-25, 25-19 and 15-10.
On Saturday the Crimson Bears won in three sets, 29-27, 26-24, 25-20.
“I am thinking we are probably in first place for conference going into the regions in three weeks,” JDHS coach Lesslie Knight said.
JDHS travels to Anchorage next weekend and the Thunder Mountain Falcons host an All-Comers meet. The crosstown rivals will host each other on Oct. 30 at JDHS and Oct. 31 at TMHS for their respective senior nights.
The Region V volleyball tournament is Nov. 6-7 at JDHS.
