This weekend, one of the longest running annual events takes place at Treadwell Arena.
The Juneau Jamboree women’s hockey tournament on Friday kicks off a three-day event, now its 14th year.
Nearly 100 players from throughout Alaska, Alberta, Canada, and Lower 48 states arrive for a weekend of hockey.
Eight teams, balanced according to skill level by tournament organizers, compete, playing four games each.
