Ketchikan senior Gage Massin hit a fade-away shot in the key with 1.5 seconds remaining to give the Kings a semifinal overtime win against the Grace Christian Grizzlies Friday at the 2025 ASAA March Madness Alaska 3A/4A Basketball State Championships in Anchorage’s Alaska Airlines Center.
Kayhi will face East Anchorage, a 48-40 winner over Monroe, in the 4A state championship game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Marcus Stockhausen led the Kings with 21 points, Edward Dela Cruz added 10, Massin and Jozaiah Dela Cruz six apiece and Scoblic three.
Kayhi hit 8-12 at the free throw line, the Grizzlies 3-7.
Bristol Tobin led Grace with 23 points, Robert Annett added nine, Brayden Clarkson seven and Ashton Clarkson four.
