McDowell Group Governor’s Cup 5K Results

JUNEAU EMPIRE

More than 50 runners ran from the steps of the Capitol to the shores of Twin Lakes (or so) in the McDowell Group Governor’s Cup 5K race.

Joshua Masson averaged 5 minute, 10 second miles on his way to victory Saturday, crossing the finish line in 16:02. Alec Nevalainen, the winner of the Glenn Frick Memorial Mile on Tuesday, was second at 16:40. Twelve runners finished the race in under 20 minutes.
