Over 50 turn out for Scramble Golf Tournament

The Juneau Golf Club hosted the Scramble Tournament on Saturday, May 27 at the Mendenhall Golf Course. A total of 21 teams of three competed in the event. The results:

Pink Flight

1st Place: Score of 30 – “Players” Diane Mayer, Leanne Pilcher and Judy Weske

2nd Place: Score of 33 – “Beer-Time Trio” Suki Patterson, Linda Vallie and Pam Kihlmire

King Flight (six men’s teams):

First Place: Score of 26 – “BKS” Bill Cameron, Kim Custer and Steve Shin

Second Place: Score of 26 – “Grumpy Old Men+1” Glen Alt, Greg Winegar and Adam Buchholz

Third Place: Score of 27 – “Scratch” Doug Belknap, Guy Thibodeau and Bob Peel

Coho Flight

First Place: Score of 27 – “Team Rainier” Rob Bentz, Jerry Melton and Harvy Johnson

Second Place: Score of 29 – “The Strokin’ Geezers” Dave Hunt, Steve Houlihan and Guy Hays

Third Place: Score of 29 – “Sweeney’s Subs” Mitch Falk, Randy Lail and Ed Burchell

Sockeye Flight

First Place: Score of 30 – “Yeti” Jeff Landvatter, Dave Campbell and Pete Christensen

Second Place: Score of 30 – “Flying Eagle” Steve Ricci, Zach Cohan and Jesse Blackwell

Third Place: Score of 30 – “McGivney’s” Dave McGivney, Stan DeLand and Marty Michiels

Closest to the pin on Hole 1 – Greg Winegar, 54 inches
