Juneau-Douglas High School hockey junior Cully Corrigan is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.
The forward scored three goals in Friday’s 6-1 win over visiting North Pole. Corrigan, who missed numerous games to a concussion this season, is the third Crimson Bear to record a hat trick since the start of the season (Bill Bosse and Joseph Monsef have also done so). JDHS won 4-2 on Saturday against North Pole.
Corrigan and the Crimson Bears return to action Feb. 1-3 at the Mid-Alaska Conference playoffs in Fairbanks.
