Juneau-Douglas High School softball senior Elisa Fabrello is the Juneau Empire Player of the Week.

The right-handed batter hit a three-run home run in Thursday’s away game against Klahowya High School (Washington). Fabrello’s hit was part of a five-run Crimson Bears rally in the seventh inning that helped cut into a nine-run deficit. Klahowya won the game 14-10.

The JDHS softball team plays Ketchikan High School this weekend in Ketchikan.
