The Southeast All-Conference Softball Team has been announced. Honorees include seven players from Juneau, two from Ketchikan High School and one from Sitka High School.
Thunder Mountain High School leads the conference with four nominations. Senior Makayla Harp and junior Haleigh DiCarlo joined all-state tournament nominees junior Alondra Echiverri and senior Taylor Beardslee on the all-conference squad for the Falcons.
Juneau-Douglas High School followed close behind TMHS with three nominations. Junior Sami Good and sophomore Morgan Balovich — who both made the all-state tournament team — were nominated alongside senior Quincy Bates.
The team was picked with help from coaches and athletic director in charge of Southeast Conference softball Chad Bentz.
