The Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball team will welcome the last two Class 4A state champions to town after the season tips off Dec. 4.
The schedule was released earlier this fall and posted to the school website or sent to team coaches.
The Falcons host 2018-19 state champion Ketchikan on Jan. 25-26 and 2017-18 state champion Wasilla Feb. 28-29 at the Thunderdome.
Ketchikan is one of three teams in the Southeast Conference along with Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaat.at Kalé and TMHS, and play the Falcons four times in the regular season.
It will be Waslla’s first trip to the capital city in at least several years. The Warriors play in the Northern Lights Conference, one of the four 4A conferences in the state, and don’t cross paths with Juneau teams every season.
The TMHS girls will also host nonconference opponents this year: Colony on Jan. 3-4 and South Anchorage on Jan. 24-25.
