‘Small’ landslide occurs downtown; one home impacted, no injuries reported

Officials evacuate nearby homes, caution residents in high-slope areas.

Landslide near Seward cuts off road access to residents, tourists

The slide measured 200 feet long by 300 feet wide and could take up to two weeks to clear.

There’s not cause for immediate concern, just watchfulness and evaluation, officials say.

6 missing after landslide hits Haines neighborhood
